What were you doing before this course?
I'm working in book publishing as a Production/Editorial Coordinator. I do the course part-time.

What motivated you to do this course now?
Graphic Design is about 2% of my current job - the 2% I love. I want to make it 100%.

Have you had any prior graphic design experience?
My career in book publishing has involved InDesign and Photoshop but I've always come in at the production stage and haven't been involved in the creative process before. That's been the real challenge for me so far at Shillington, but the tools and techniques I'm learning are enabling me to build the confidence to create my own work.

What do you like about this course?
I like that I now make the time every week to be creative instead of getting bogged down in my day job.
