What is your role?
Graphic Designer.

What sort of work are you doing?
My main role is to design Niche's travel series 'Welcome To' of which there are currently six editions- Australia, Victoria, New Zealand, South Africa, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I also help out with other jobs which can be anything from business cards to flyers and promotional material.

What sort of deadlines do you work to?
My travel publications have a three week deadline but all the odd jobs that come through the office are more around the 'five minutes ago' deadline.

What do you love about Graphic Design?
It's a creative outlet for me, I love coming to work and using my creativity in an environment where I am fortunate enough to have a lot of freedom to do my job.

What do you find inspiring?
Beautiful publications such as IDN (International Designers Network), Dumbo Feather and Grafik.

How has Shillington helped you gain employment?
They gave me the knowledge and inspiration to get out there and become a designer. It was through a Shillington contact that I found out who to stalk at Niche and the rest, as they say, is history...
